Advanced Electric Energy is a locally owned and operated family business based in Porters Lake, Nova Scotia. We are passionate about helping homeowners and businesses become more energy independent through renewable energy solutions and quality workmanship.
Our primary services include solar panel installations, battery backup systems, and screw pile installations. We also provide a variety of electrical and general contracting services depending on our clients’ needs. As a growing company, no two days are exactly the same, and our team members are often involved in a wide range of projects.
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who is eager to learn and enjoys a variety of hands-on work. While much of the role will focus on solar, battery backup, and screw pile installations, this position may also involve:
Residential electrical work
Panel upgrades and rewiring projects
Installing lighting and electrical fixtures
Material pickups and deliveries
Shop organization and inventory management
General labour and construction support
Assisting with maintenance and miscellaneous company projects
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning new skills, takes initiative, and is comfortable adapting to different tasks as needed.
***Requirements & Qualifications
Previous construction, electrical, roofing, or related trade experience is considered an asset
Comfortable working at heights and using fall protection equipment
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Professional and respectful with customers and coworkers
Reliable and punctual
Physically capable of lifting materials and performing manual labour
Valid driver’s license preferred
Willingness to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities
