Through our fleet of trucks and plants in Waterloo Region, we supply the building and construction industries with industry-leading service and superior quality concrete.
We are currently recruiting for full-time and part-time/call-in Ready-Mix Truck Drivers. The “part-time/call-in” opportunity would work well for retired or semi-retired candidates who are only looking to work occasionally, seasonally (April-November), or as required.
As a Ready-Mix Truck Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring safety compliance in all areas of our operations
- Delivering concrete to job sites safely, timely, and professionally
- Providing the highest level of customer service possible
- Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and organized fashion
- Working closely with dispatch to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
- Valid DZ or AZ commercial licence
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience with a clean CVOR
- Willingness to learn on the job from other experienced Operators
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Exposure to the ready-mix and/or construction industry would be considered an asset
- Ability to lift 75 pounds. This is a physically demanding job
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact with customers and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Comfortable driving and working outdoors in all four seasons
- Willingness to be open-minded and learn new skills to expand your career

Pay: $28.95-$31.95 per hour
