About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will help ensure a consistent supply of clean, high-quality linens and towels for our guests by operating laundry equipment and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and remove items that do not meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Follow all hotel safety procedures and infection prevention guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily operational needs.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
