Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operations at our fueling station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Bilingual skills and familiarity with retail sales, POS systems, and basic merchandising are highly valued to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently
- Operate POS systems for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
- Manage cash register operations with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide product information, conduct product demos, and upsell items such as snacks or beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including pumps, store area, and surrounding grounds
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist in inventory management and perform basic merchandising tasks
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or POS systems preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to upsell products through effective sales techniques
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally
- Multilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively

- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos is advantageous
