Signify Design – Woodstock, ON (Hybrid: 2 Days In-Studio / 3 Days Remote)
Signify Design is a boutique design studio specializing in commercial interiors, environmental branding, signage, and branded environments. We partner with leading national brands across Canada to create spaces that seamlessly blend interior design, architecture, graphics, and customer experience.
We're looking for an experienced Commercial Interior Designer who enjoys both the creative and technical aspects of design and wants to be part of a collaborative, design-focused studio.
This is a hybrid position, with two scheduled days each week working from our Woodstock studio and up to three days working remotely. Additional travel to client meetings, construction sites, and project installations throughout Ontario and Canada will be required as projects demand.
This role offers the flexibility of remote work while recognizing that the best ideas, collaboration, and mentorship often happen face-to-face.
What We're Looking For
We're less interested in titles than we are in capability.
The right person enjoys solving technical design problems just as much as developing creative concepts. They take pride in producing accurate drawing packages, ask thoughtful questions, communicate well, and are motivated to continually improve.
This position is best suited to someone who:
- Enjoys producing detailed, buildable construction drawings—not just beautiful renderings.
- Can work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Takes ownership of their work and follows through on commitments.
- Is curious, adaptable and eager to learn.
- Pays exceptional attention to detail.
- Values craftsmanship, accountability and producing high-quality work.
Every design studio has its own standards, workflows and client expectations. Successful candidates will be excited to learn how we work and contribute to projects of increasing responsibility as they become familiar with our process.
