Duties and Responsibilities:
-
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (Primary Responsibility)
-
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
-
Recruit for a wide range of positions, including:
-
Engineering (Electrical, Embedded Software, Mechanical, Firmware, Hardware, etc.)
-
Sales (Technical Sales, Account Managers, SDR, Business Development)
-
Product Development and R&D
-
Manufacturing, Operations and Corporate functions
-
Supporting forhiring US staff
-
Develop andmaintaineffective recruitment channels, including LinkedIn,Indeed, universities, employee referrals, recruiting agencies, career fairs, and industry networking.

Conduct resume screening, phone interviews,behaviouralinterviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
-
Partner closely with department managers to understand hiring needs and provide recruitment strategies.
-
Maintain talent pipelines for critical positions and proactively source passive candidates.
-
Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and employment documentation.
-
Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and recruitment effectiveness.
2. Employee Relations
-
Build positive working relationships with employees and managers.
-
Provide guidance on HR policies, workplace concerns, and employee inquiries.
-
Support employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.
-
Assistwith conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary processes whenrequired.
-
Support employee performance management, probation reviews, and coaching discussions.
-
Conduct exit interviews andidentifytrends for continuous improvement.
3. HR Operations
-
Support onboarding and orientation for new employees.
-
Maintainaccurateemployee records and HRIS data.
-
Prepare employment letters and HR documentation, including:

Offer letters
-
Employment contracts
-
Promotion and salary increase letters
-
Transfer and probation extension letters
-
Employment verification letters
-
Ensure HR documentationcomplies withapplicable employment legislation and company policies.

Assistwith policy implementation and process improvements.
4. HR Projects & Compliance
-
Support HR initiatives such as performance reviews, salary reviews, succession planning, and employee development.

Assist with Health & Safety, training coordination, and compliance programs.
-
Participate in HR system implementation and process optimization.
-
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
-
SupportadditionalHR projects assigned by the HR Manager.
-
Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations
-
Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.

Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, ora relatedfield.
-
CHRP designation or working toward CHRP is considered an asset.
Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a full-function HR Generalist role.
-
Demonstrated success in recruiting technical professionals, including engineering, sales, and product development positions.
-
Experience working in a manufacturing or technology environment is highly preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Language Requirements

Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Ability to communicate professionally with both English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking employees and managers.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting electrical, embedded software, firmware, hardware, mechanical engineering, and technical sales positions.

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter,Indeed, ATS, and other sourcing platforms.

Experience supporting employee relations in a manufacturing environment.
-
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now is an asset.
