The Role
We are looking for experienced Indian cuisine cooks to join our kitchen team. Whether you are a skilled prep cook, a confident line cook, or somewhere in between, we want to hear from you. You will work alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment where attention to detail and a love for authentic Indian food are non-negotiable.
What You Will Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes to consistent, high standards
- Supporting menu planning, portion control, and food cost management under chef guidance
- Managing inventory and maintaining accurate records of food, supplies and equipment
- Keeping the kitchen running smoothly through organized prep and efficient production
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and well-organized kitchen at all times
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, ingredients and terminology
- Culinary certification, diploma or degree is an asset
- Completion of secondary school required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented and a strong team player
- Must be able to reliably commute to Niagara-on-the-Lake or plan to relocate prior to starting
