All Star Landscaping – Now Hiring Skilled Skid Steer Operators
(Lot Grading – Commercial)
All Star Landscaping is growing our Calgary division and looking for skilled skid steer operators who can produce clean, accurate grade without constant supervision.
This role focuses on subdivision lot grading and commercial grading/landscaping work. You will be expected to read plans, understand elevations, and consistently hit production targets.
Pay (Based on Experience)
- $25 – $28/hr (1–2 years grading experience)
- $28 – $+30/hr (2–+5 years experience with proven high-level production and quality right out of the gate)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate skid steers (ISO controls) for rough and final grade
- Read and execute plot plans, grading plans, and elevations
- Set some grade stakes and ensure proper slope and drainage
- Meet daily production targets (2+ lots per day on average)
- Communicate with supervisors and team using Slack
- Track time and job progress in LMN Time
- Complete safety requirements in SiteDocs
(pre-trip, mobile equipment inspections, FLRAs, hazard IDs)
- Report site, equipment, and production issues clearly
- Support other crews and tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year grading experience
- Strong skid steer operating ability (ISO control competency required)
- Ability to read and understand grading plans
- Proven ability to achieve accurate rough and finish grade efficiently
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
- Clear communication and strong accountability
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience with Bobcat T66, MT100, ASV 30/40 is an asset
- Experience hauling equipment (1-ton truck + trailer) is an asset
- Familiarity with LMN, Slack, and SiteDocs is an asset
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday+
- Some weekends depending on weather and workload
- Overtime after 8 hours/day and 44 hours/week
