We are looking for a well-experienced Specialist Chef- Tandoor to work for Sula Indian
Restaurant Main Street located at 4172 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5V 3P7, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Prepare, cook, and present a variety of authentic tandoori dishes, including kebabs,
tandoori meats, seafood, breads, and specialty Indian appetizers, in accordance with
established recipes and quality standards.
● Operate and maintain traditional tandoor ovens, ensuring proper temperature control,
cooking techniques, and consistent product quality.
● Marinate, season, and prepare meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, and dough using
traditional recipes and spice blends.
● Organize and oversee daily food preparation activities within the tandoor section to
ensure efficient service and timely order execution.
● Monitor food quality, portion control, taste, and presentation to maintain consistency and
customer satisfaction.
● Supervise and provide guidance to cooks and kitchen helpers assigned to the tandoor
section, ensuring adherence to kitchen procedures and standards.
● Ensure proper storage, handling, rotation, and inventory control of food products and
specialty ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
● Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and occupational health and safety
regulations while supporting smooth kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience & Skills: 5 years in the Food Industry.
Language: English
Other skills;
Good Knowledge of Indian Cuisine
Hourly Rate: $38.46 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
