Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a passion for hospitality. Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and food safety standards to assist guests effectively
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while adhering to sanitation and food handling regulations
- Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables promptly
- Assist with setting up tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining a clean dining environment
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling purposes
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $19.00-$29.14 per hour
