Inside Automation Sales Representative
(Electrical / Industrial Automation | Full‑time | On‑site)
What You Will Do
- Prepare job quotations and assist with bid preparation
- Develop material take-offs from blueprints, drawings, or plans
- Provide phone and written quotes to customers
- Source and price materials per quote requests
- Identify and qualify projects for bid, including: PLCs, VFD panels, instrumentation, motor control, HVAC, SCADA
- Compile and confirm Bills of Materials (BOMs) with suppliers
- Communicate with consultants and customers to obtain bidding approvals
- Negotiate pricing and identify alternatives for special or custom orders
- Provide technical information related to quotes
- Assemble specification books and maintain quote records
- Follow up on open quotations with sales teams and customers
- Coordinate with account representatives, sales executives, and inside sales to ensure quote and order accuracy
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- High English proficiency
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, pricing tools)
- Industry-related experience in automation or electrical systems is an asset
Education & Requirements
- Secondary School education required; post‑secondary education is an asset
- Ability to read drawings and technical specifications
- Valid Driver’s License

Are you detail‑oriented with a passion for electrical and industrial automation? We’re looking for a motivated Inside Automation Sales Representative to support quotations, bids, and technical coordination across PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong math, organization, and computer skills
- Interest or background in electrical/automation systems
- Detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven
- High English proficiency required (IELTS 7.0+ or WELARC High)
- Secondary School education required; post‑secondary education is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
