Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting material and goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain operations while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks to transport material to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform basic troubleshooting to ensure vehicle reliability
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient loading, unloading, and storage of freight
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with freight transportation
- Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to freight transport and heavy equipment operation
- Prior experience in logistics or warehouse environments is advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various conditions
Pay increase depending on liability and performance
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
