Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers and clients
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines
- Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Prior experience in driving or delivery roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with navigation tools or GPS devices is a plus
- Strong time management skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.60-$30.34 per hour
