We are seeking team players who enjoy a collaborative team environment. Currently we have openings for Hydraulic Technician in our Edmonton, AB office.
Key Responsibilities & Job Requirements for Hydraulic Technician:
· Disassemble, repair, convert, and test all types of hydraulic components and systems.
· Prepare a comprehensive and detailed written report as required on estimates.
· Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
· Test hydraulic components on test stand.
· Troubleshoot mobile and industrial hydraulic systems.
· Assist in ensuring we have adequate inventory by providing recommendations of what parts should be stocked to ensure we are responsive to our customer needs.
· Assist in properly maintaining and operating the company’s shop assets including test bench, cranes, company vehicles, etc.
· Assist in utilizing deadstock inventory during conversions or other opportunities.
· Display professionalism in all dealings with internal and external customers.
· Work overtime as required.
· Ongoing training and upgrading of skills to ensure they are up to date with changes in the industry.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
· Responsible for understanding and abiding by the PSI safety policy and following safe work practices.
· Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
* Formal fluid power training is an asset.
* Experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or Millwright would be an asset.
* Must have a clean valid driver’s license.
