We are a Vancouver based gaming/esports content production studio creating storytelling, documentary, and analysis videos for the gaming and esports world — for our own channels and for major brand partners.
We're expanding our network of freelance creators who live and breathe esports and can make video that fits our gaming style. If you know what's trending before it trends and can turn it into content fans love, we want to work with you.
Two Ways to Work With Us
We're hiring on two tracks — pick the one that fits how you work (or tell us you can do both):
Track 1 — Writer & Ideator
You're the front of the pipeline. You know the meta, the storylines, and what the community is talking about right now — and you can turn that into sharp video concepts and scripts.
- Pitch timely, trending video ideas that fit Akshon's channels and audience
- Write tight, engaging scripts in our voice and format
- Collaborate with our production team, who take your script through to a finished video
Track 2 — Full-Production Creator
You take an idea and run the whole thing yourself — concept to finished, publish-ready video in Akshon's style.
- Develop the idea, write the script, and edit the final piece end-to-end
- Source footage, structure the narrative, and deliver a polished cut
- Work independently with light direction, hitting our quality bar without hand-holding
What We're Looking For (Both Tracks)
- Deep esports / gaming knowledge — you understand the games, scenes, culture, and fans
- A finger on the pulse of what's trending — you spot the story early
- Ability to match Akshon's style and voice — you've studied our content and get what makes it work
- Reliable and communicative — you hit deadlines and are easy to work with
- A portfolio or reel that shows what you can do
For Track 1 (Writer/Ideator): strong writing, story instincts, and a steady stream of ideas.
For Track 2 (Full Production): solid video editing chops — pacing, narrative, sound, and packaging — and the ability to deliver finished content solo.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating for YouTube and short-form social
- Motion graphics, thumbnail/packaging, or sound design skills
- Comfort using AI tools to speed up research, scripting, or editing
- A track record of videos that performed (views, watch time, engagement)
