Job Title: Data/Fiber Optic Low Voltage Data Technician
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Data/Fiber/Telephone Cabling Technician to join our growing team. As a Structured Cabling Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various low voltage Cat5e, Cat6 and Fiber installations. Including structured cabling, security cameras, audio-visual systems, and other related systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate low voltage data/telephone cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and other types of cables.
- Install security surveillance cameras.
- Install WIFI access points.
- Install audio-visual systems, including projectors, speakers, microphones, and other related equipment.
- Test and certify low voltage data systems to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for low voltage cabling.
- Collaborate with other technicians and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and other related activities.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
