The ABA technician is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), who provides intensive behavioral intervention services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays. The RBT will work to teach language, communication skills, academic skills, and life skills to individuals with autism, using the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Teaching will be conducted in a homeschool setting. Ongoing supervision from a BCBA will be provided. Technicians will be responsible for implementing programs, collecting data on progress, discussing session performance with parents and teachers, demonstrating teaching methods in clinic meetings, and carrying out all program and teaching modifications as directed by the BCBA.

Duties Include
- Conducts direct implementation of skill-acquisition and positive behavior support plans developed by supervisor (BCBA or BCaBA)
- Collects and records data accurately and efficiently
- Communicates clearly and effectively with clients and caregivers
- Demonstrates competency
- Abides by code of ethics detailed in the Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts (www.bacb.com)
- Maintains client confidentiality and respect for clients
- Continues professional development through attending workshops, reviewing professional literature
Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Credential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an ABA Interventionist with children with autism and/or developmental disabilities
- Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Education, or a related field.

- Eager, energetic and passionate demeanor
- Must pass HIV test and criminal background check

Requirements
- Must be willing to relocate to the Cayman Islands for a minimum of 18 months.
