Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Journeyperson Plumber will work closely with other trades to deliver high-quality craftsmanship on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete plumbing tasks efficiently
- Collaborate with other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of systems
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems using basic math and technical knowledge to identify solutions
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes during all phases of work
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role within construction or maintenance environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, HVAC systems, welding, and general construction practices
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation or repairs
- Experience with maintenance tasks related to plumbing systems is preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various project settings

Pay: $28.31-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44.0 per week
