This is a newly created position offering exposure to both finance and business operations. The successful candidate will support reporting, budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and strategic initiatives while working closely with leadership and various business groups. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analyzing data, identifying trends, improving reporting, and helping drive business decisions.
Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning activities.

Analyze revenue, pricing, productivity, and other key business performance metrics.

Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership and business stakeholders.

Gather, validate, and analyze financial and operational data to support strategic initiatives.

Assist with benchmarking and external market analysis.

Develop and maintain reporting templates, dashboards, and management reports.
-
Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for business improvement.

Support reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Assist with the development of self-service reporting capabilities and enhanced data accessibility.

Partner with cross-functional teams to provide meaningful business insights and decision support.

Prepare presentations and analyses for senior leadership.

Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on reporting efficiency and business performance.
Qualifications and pre-requisites: -
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

CPA designation completed or in progress is considered an asset.

2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business analytics, reporting, or a related function.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience with Power BI, SQL, VBA, or similar reporting and business intelligence tools is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to interpret large volumes of data and communicate meaningful insights.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
