Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and positive Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours, providing exceptional guest service while managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audits of hotel accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage front desk operations during the night shift, including checking guests in and out.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a pleasant stay.
- Handle phone calls efficiently, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and hospitality skills.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management review.
- Assist guests with special requests or concerns, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly.
- Collaborate respectfully and professionally with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean and organized at all times.
- Monitor room flow and respond promptly to MTE (Maintenance) requests as required.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the property to ensure safety and compliance. This is a mandatory responsibility of the role.
- Actively respond to and resolve unusual situations or incidents during the night shift, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive workplace by communicating respectfully with colleagues and maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel environment or guest services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and supportive team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with colleagues, guests, and management.
- Respectful workplace conduct is essential. Disrespectful, hostile, discriminatory, bullying, or disruptive behaviour toward team members or guests is not acceptable.
- Ability to receive feedback professionally and work cooperatively as part of a diverse team.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly when completing auditing tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative when required.
