JOB SUMMARY
We are hiring Quality Inspectors in Tilsonburg for a 2–4 week automotive manufacturing project

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting automotive parts to ensure they meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. The successful candidate will perform visual and dimensional inspections, identify defects or inconsistencies, complete required quality documentation, and work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This is a 2–4 week project with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Inspect automotive parts for defects, damage, and inconsistencies.
- Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections.
- Identify and separate defective or non-conforming parts.
- Follow customer specifications, quality standards, and work instructions.
- Use basic measuring and inspection tools as required.
- Complete inspection sheets and quality documentation.
- Report quality issues to the supervisor or quality team.
- Assist with sorting and reworking parts when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and required PPE.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production and quality requirements.
REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Previous automotive, manufacturing, quality inspection, or production experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available for the afternoon shift.
- Must be able to commit to the full 2–4 week project.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work is performed 100% on the manufacturing plant floor.
- Required to wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment.
- Ability to remain attentive and focused while performing repetitive production and welding tasks.
- Ability to stand and move around the production area for the duration of the shift.
- Must be willing to work in accordance with the plant's assigned shift schedule and operational requirements.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
SCHEDULE:
- Monday to Friday, some Saturdays: Day, afternoon, and Night shift
