Job Summary:
Our client has multiple openings for full-time Machine Operators, based in Ingersoll, ON. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations and be primarily responsible for ensuring raw parts are correctly loaded into machines, with finished parts meeting quality standards.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operating machinery/equipment by loading single or multiple parts.
- Maintaining attention to detail on gauging required of completed parts.
- Troubleshooting equipment/tooling within scope of responsibility.
- Being flexible and open to assignments in other areas as required.
- Supporting and training workers in machine specific training.
- Performing visual inspection and documenting all quality aspects.
- Operating basic computer functions including software and programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule/Hours
We operate Mon-Fri on a 2-week rotating shift pattern of three shifts, which includes:
- Days 7:30am to 3:30pm
- Afternoons 3:30pm to 11:30pm
- Nights 11:30pm to 7:30am
There is shift premium pay for afternoon and evening shifts.
More About You
- Previous machine operator, CNC, robotic equipment experience is an asset but not required.
- You have your own reliable transportation.
- You must pass controlled goods security assessment prior to starting (see below for requirements).
- Willing to take and pass Wonderlic assessment (cognitive, motivation, and personality test).
- You bring a positive mindset, problem-solving skills, and are eager to learn.
- Demonstrated basic math and spatial skills.
- Flexibility in shift work, with the ability to adapt to rotating schedules.
