Job Overview
We are seeking a Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for residential and commercial properties. A strong understanding of horticulture, mechanical systems, and construction practices , with a focus on delivering high-quality service and efficient system operation. Candidates should possess practical experience with gardening, landscape maintenance, and the use of various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the health and beauty of our clients’ landscapes. Irrigation experience an asset but not necessary.

Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators.
- Conduct routine maintenance on irrigation components to prevent system failures and ensure proper water flow.
- diagnose issues with sprinklers, valves, pumps, and other irrigation parts.
- Assist with construction new installations.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, installations, and system inspections for client files.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Skills
- Experience with irrigation systems installation and repair an asset.
- Strong background in gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance practices an asset
- Mechanical knowledge related to pumps, valves, controllers, and other irrigation components.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in landscape or construction work.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for landscape equipment and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for troubleshooting system issues effectively.This role is vital in maintaining beautiful landscapes through efficient irrigation management while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld at all times.
Pay: $29.00-$40.00 per hour
