Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Underground Sewer and Water Supervisor/Foreman to lead and oversee sewer and water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, supervisory experience, and a thorough understanding of underground utility installation. This role involves coordinating field operations, ensuring project quality, adhering to safety standards, and managing project schedules and budgets. The Supervisor/Foreman will play a critical role in delivering high-quality work efficiently while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field activities related to underground sewer and water installation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide installation processes.
- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera P6 for scheduling and project tracking.
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage project budgets by monitoring costs and resource allocation effectively.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Train and supervise crew members, providing guidance on technical tasks and safety procedures.
- Use construction estimating tools to assist in planning materials and labor needs for upcoming phases of the project.
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, progress reports, and safety records.
Skills
- Proven supervisory experience in underground utility construction or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of sewer and water infrastructure installation processes.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6; familiarity with Bluebeam is a plus.
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in construction environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ProCore or similar project management tools is desirable but not required.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
