Position Summary:
The Facility Assistant is the front-line interaction with Koch Fuel Products customers. They are responsible for initiating and maintaining customer relations, ensuring a high-end customer experience, and supporting both yard operations and field service requirements, including product delivery and equipment handling. They are responsible for fulfilling customer orders from the warehouse, or with propane or methanol.
The Facility Assistant must have excellent customer services skills as they are the frontline of our business. They will be helping customers at the front desk, outside, or on the phone. They will need to have strong time management skills to ensure all daily responsibilities are completed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Sundre Site Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Facility Assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:
Facility and Equipment Management
· Maintain and clean the Bulk Plant on a daily basis, following the policies and procedures of Koch Fuel Products.
· Clean and maintain fuel pumps, card lock, and site office
· Adjust to daily cleanliness or maintenance needs of the site (e.g. snow removal)
· Perform all duties outlined in the daily, weekly and monthly inspections of the cardlock & bulk plant
· Keep the site up to the image standards set by the Safety/Image Manager
· Fill warehouse
· Operate skid steer equipment for yard maintenance and product receiving
Safety and Compliance
· Deliver packaged products and equipment in a safe manner while following company standards
· Handle propane and complete bottle re-certification (training will be provided)
· Conduct OWS (oil-water-separator) sampling, monitoring, and data entry
· Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental procedures
Operational and Managerial Duties
· Receive and follow oral or written orders from Site Manager
· Ability to open and/or close the store in timely manner
· Conduct weekly customer shop checks to maintain inventory levels
· Deliver lubricant products over a wide area
· Deliver large agriculture equipment
· Equipment maintenance
Customer Service and Point-of-Sale Duties
· Responsible for the internal and external image of the site
· Responsible for building relationships and trust with walk-in customers
· Commitment to a positive attitude in Customer Service, serving customers at the front desk, outside, or over the phone
· Complete sales and R.O.A transactions

Minimum Requirements:
· High School Diploma
· Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Accountable and dependable.
· Basic computer skills are not required but considered an asset
· Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work.
· Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
· Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
· Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks; and
· Experience with customer service preferred.
Key Relationships:
This position interfaces with internal and external contacts:
· Internal: Site Manager and other members of KFP
· External: Primarily customers and Petro Canada
Working Conditions:
· Work in a busy, open office area with constant interruptions.
· Able to work on a computer.
· Able to comfortably answer phones and give consistent customer service
· May spend long hours in intense concentration which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
· Required to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stress.
· Able to be on your feet for an entire shift and work inside or outside regardless of weather conditions
· May need to lift or move heavy objects
· Ability to use a broom and/or snow shovel on a daily basis
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
