Cross Country Canada Supplies & Rentals Inc. (CCCSR) is a rapidly growing industrial supply and rental company with locations in Alberta and British Columbia. We support pipeline, civil construction, industrial, oil & gas and mining projects by providing equipment rentals, industrial supplies, and customer-focused solutions across Western Canada. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team based out of Grande Prairie, Alberta
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and supporting a seamless sales process from initial contact through to order fulfillment. This role requires a customer-focused professional who can identify client needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and consistently achieve sales objectives. The successful candidate will build rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. Your efforts will promote the Company’s product line and pricing, while being professional and attentive to the customer needs. Teamwork is vital and communication is essential.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers through outbound calls, email communication, and follow-up activities
- Identify customer requirements and recommend products and services that best meet their needs
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate product, pricing, and service information
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry developments
- Present and demonstrate product features, benefits, and applications to customers.
- Monitor market trends and remain informed about competitor products and services
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to maximize customer value
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and support customers throughout the sales cycle
- Achieve individual sales goals and contribute to overall team performance targets
- Coordinate inventory purchasing activities, including sourcing products, communicating with vendors, and negotiating pricing and terms
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and customer support
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inside sales or a related sales position preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Proven ability to build rapport with customers and maintain positive business relationships
- Effective telephone communication and prospecting skills, including cold calling experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong listening, negotiation, and sales skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet or exceed established sales targets
Working conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional travel may be necessary
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
