Shift Supervisor – Dog Daycare
Location: Four on the Floor Dog Daycare
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Are you a confident leader who loves dogs and thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Shift Supervisor to help lead our team and ensure our daycare operates smoothly every day.
At Four on the Floor, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, structured, and enriching environment where dogs can learn, play, and thrive. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and passionate about both dogs and leading people.
Responsibilities
● Lead and support the daycare team throughout each shift.
● Manage dog packs safely while maintaining a calm and structured environment.
● Take dogs on daily walks and implement enrichment activities.
● Delegate tasks and direct staff to ensure daily routines are completed efficiently.
● Ensure all daycare policies and safety procedures are followed.
● Communicate professionally with clients in person, over the phone, and by email.
● Monitor dog behaviour and address issues appropriately.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility.
● Help ensure the overall day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
● Strong leadership and communication skills.
● Confident making decisions and managing a team.
● Experience working with dogs in a daycare, kennel, training, or veterinary setting is an asset.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
● Physically able to walk, stand for extended periods, and handle dogs of all sizes.
● Reliable, positive, and passionate about animal care.
