Reporting to the General Management, the incumbent plays a key and cross-functional role within the organization. This individual actively contributes to the improvement and sustainability of HR practices and programs to support the company’s growth objectives.
They ensure the implementation of effective HR practices, promote harmonious internal communication, and maintain rigorous management of HR processes and employee records.
The successful candidate will contribute to talent attraction and acquisition, skills development, management support, and the maintenance of compliance and integrity of employee records and document management systems.
You will help drive organizational effectiveness by ensuring:
- Talent acquisition and management of the full recruitment process
- Coordination of onboarding and integration activities for new employees
- Participation in skills development and implementation of practices that promote autonomy and strong HR practices
- Design, review, and implementation of HR programs (attraction, retention, engagement, skills development, performance management, health and safety, labor relations, etc.)
- Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and managers on human capital management (recruitment, talent development, succession planning, training, recognition)
- Supporting managers in the day-to-day management of teams: performance, discipline, employee relations, and health and safety prevention
- Participation in the management of total compensation and benefits programs (group insurance and retirement plans)
- Development and communication of internal HR-related communications
- Performing any other related tasks associated with HR department activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations; CRHA designation (an asset)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR generalist
- Strong knowledge of organizational development and employee engagement
- Experience in an advisory role with management teams
- Excellent listening and group facilitation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (French and English)
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Team player, proactive, autonomous, and innovative, with strong execution and prioritization skills
- Decisive, results-oriented, adaptable to change, and able to build strong relationships with managers and employees
