WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Fence Installation & Repair
- Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural fencing, including barbed wire, page wire, and electric fencing.
- Replace fence posts, gates, braces, and wire as required.
- Inspect fences and report damage or maintenance needs.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fencing equipment.
Property Maintenance
- Mow grass, trim vegetation, remove weeds, and maintain roadways, trails, and yard areas.
- Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of buildings, corrals, and surrounding property.
- Assist with snow removal, drainage maintenance, and seasonal property upkeep.
- Complete minor repairs to gates, fences, buildings, and other infrastructure.
Safety
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report hazards, incidents, and equipment concerns promptly.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Experience in fencing, landscaping, construction, farming, general labour, or equipment operation is an asset.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and equipment, or willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Walk long distances and work on uneven, muddy, rocky, or rugged terrain.
- Stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Safely perform manual labour around livestock, equipment, and active work sites.
- Work extended hours during peak agricultural and ranching seasons as required.
