Industrial Mover - Foreman

The Opportunity
Precision Rigging & Industrial Services Ltd. is looking for an experienced Industrial Mover / Rigger Foreman to join our growing team.
We provide specialized rigging, industrial moving, jack & slide services, logistics, crane support, and demolition to industrial and commercial clients throughout British Columbia.
Our work is challenging and specialized, requiring experience, planning, teamwork, and problem-solving. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can lead by example, make sound decisions, and help develop the people around them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise riggers, industrial movers, labourers, and field crews.
- Plan and coordinate rigging, heavy moving, hoisting, jacking, skidding, and equipment placement.
- Review lift plans, drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
- Conduct hazard assessments, toolbox meetings, and safety discussions.
- Work with management, customers, contractors, crane operators, and other trades.
- Identify hazards and develop practical solutions for challenging moves.
- Ensure work meets WorkSafeBC and company safety requirements.
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, tools, and company equipment.
- Mentor and train less-experienced team members.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial moving, rigging, mechanical installation, or related experience.
- Previous Foreman, Lead Hand, Supervisor, or Crew Lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of rigging principles and safe lifting practices.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read rigging plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
Millwright or mechanical trade experience is an asset. Candidates with leadership experience in related industries are encouraged to apply.
Certifications
Rigging training/certification, First Aid, WHMIS, Forklift, and other industrial safety tickets are considered assets.

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
