Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing Manager to oversee plumbing operations across residential customers in Ottawa and Cornwall area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems. This role involves managing teams, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The Plumbing Manager will play a vital role in maintaining efficient workflows and delivering exceptional service to clients.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate plumbing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety regulations
- Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution
- Manage procurement of materials and tools necessary for various projects
- Lead a team of plumbers and apprentices, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Perform quality control inspections to verify work accuracy and safety standards are met
- Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, materials used, and labor hours
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in plumbing systems and related components
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience with plumbing, HVAC systems, welding, power tools, hand tools, and assembly techniques
- Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting and system design modifications
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations
- Experience with commercial driving preferred for material transportation
- Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $85,000.00-$93,000.00 per year
