We are hiring friendly, motivated, and sales-oriented professionals for our Brampton and Toronto locations. Depending on availability and business needs, candidates may work at one or both locations.

Candidates with opticianry education, optical retail experience, or previous experience in an optometry clinic are strongly encouraged to apply. Training may be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will be assigned based on the candidate’s position, experience, and qualifications.
Customer Service and Optical Sales
- Welcome patients professionally and create a comfortable, premium experience
- Understand each patient’s prescription, lifestyle, budget, and eyewear needs
- Help customers select frames based on fit, comfort, appearance, and personal style
- Recommend suitable lenses, coatings, sunglasses, and contact lens options
- Explain progressive lenses, high-index lenses, anti-reflective coatings, transitions, polarized lenses, blue-light protection, and second-pair options
- Process eyewear orders, warranties, follow-ups, and basic troubleshooting
- Handle patient concerns professionally and provide solution-focused service
- Support store sales goals, patient retention, second-pair sales, and contact lens sales
Optician and Student Optician Duties
- Take accurate PD, segment height, fitting height, OC height, and other required measurements
- Fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear
- Conduct quality checks to confirm prescription accuracy, comfort, fit, and appearance
- Educate patients about proper eyewear use, care, and lens options
- Support contact lens sales, training, and follow-up care
- Work in accordance with professional standards and under appropriate supervision when required
Optometric Assistant and Administrative Duties
- Complete patient intake and prepare patients for appointments
- Assist with pre-testing and maintain efficient clinic flow
- Manage appointment confirmations, recalls, paperwork, and follow-ups
- Assist patients with insurance coverage, direct billing, co-payments, and benefit explanations
- Accurately use POS, EMR, computers, tablets, and optical equipment
- Work closely with optometrists, licensed opticians, staff, and management
Store Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom
- Keep frame displays attractive and properly arranged
- Follow company policies regarding pricing, promotions, discounts, inventory, and daily procedures
- Maintain accurate orders, patient records, payments, and follow-ups
- Stay informed about current eyewear styles, lens technology, and optical products
- Work with professionalism, accuracy, urgency, and pride
Qualifications
- Optical retail or optometry clinic experience is an asset
- Licensed Opticians must be registered and in good standing in Ontario
- Student Opticians must be enrolled in or have completed an approved opticianry program
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence in recommending and selling optical products
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, EMR software, and tablets
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy patient environment
- Basic understanding of insurance billing is an asset
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
