Front Desk Associate & Community Outreach Coordinator

Overview
Rockii Pickleball is seeking a friendly, organized, and confident Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming guest experience, supporting smooth daily operations, coordinating programs and open play, and helping maintain a clean, professional facility.
The ideal candidate understands pickleball, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable being vocal and direct when organizing players or enforcing facility rules.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-ins, bookings, programs, and open play
- Answer guest inquiries by phone, email, or in person
- Explain memberships, programs, court bookings, events, and facility policies
- Sell paddles, pro shop items, programs, and memberships with confidence
- Handle payments and front desk transactions accurately
- Coordinate programs, round robins, and open play sessions during shifts
- Direct players to use round robin sheets, open play boards, and proper court rotations
- Professionally enforce facility rules, booking times, and court usage expectations
- Assist with guest concerns and resolve issues in a calm, professional manner
- Keep the front desk, lounge, courtside areas, and common spaces clean and organized
- Walk the facility every hour to collect water bottles, trash, and misplaced items
- Reset chairs, tables, and common areas after guest groups leave
- Use downtime to email and reach out to local businesses and community contacts
- Support opening, closing, and general daily operations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled and attending an accredited University.
- University student or someone with customer service experience
- Background in sports, recreation, hospitality, or guest services preferred
- Good understanding of how pickleball works
- Strong communication skills, including confidence speaking to groups
- Comfortable being direct with players and enforcing rules professionally
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with sales, cash handling, and customer service
- Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism
- Must bring your own laptop to work

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
