Arsenal Canine Academy is looking for a motivated, professional Puppy Trainer to join our training team.
This role is responsible for helping puppies build the foundation they need to become confident, well-mannered dogs while providing owners with the education and support necessary to continue that success at home.

What You'll Do
As a Puppy Trainer, you will:
- Work hands-on with puppies through Arsenal Canine Academy's training programs.
- Teach foundational obedience, engagement, leash skills, handling, confidence, boundaries, and appropriate household behavior.
- Help puppies develop positive environmental exposure and age-appropriate social skills.
- Follow Arsenal Canine Academy training systems, progression standards, and established SOPs.
- Monitor each puppy's behavior, stress, health, progress, and overall welfare.
- Maintain accurate training notes and required documentation.
- Communicate puppy progress clearly and professionally to the appropriate team members.
- Prepare puppies and owners for successful Go Home sessions.
- Coach owners on handling, expectations, consistency, and continuing training at home.
- Conduct required client satisfaction and 5-star service check-ins during Go Home sessions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe training environment.
- Work collaboratively with Trainers, Assistant Trainers, Kennel Technicians, Client Success, and management.
- Immediately report safety, health, behavioral, or client concerns through the proper chain of command.

- Physically capable of safely handling dogs of different sizes and energy levels.
- Focused on dog welfare and safe handling practices.
- Willing to receive feedback and continuously improve.
- Able to follow established procedures rather than improvising outside their role authority.
Previous professional dog-training experience is an asset, but attitude, work ethic, coachability, consistency, and alignment with Arsenal's standards are extremely important.

Success in this position means puppies are making measurable progress, training standards are followed consistently, owners understand how to continue the work at home, documentation is completed accurately, and every client receives a professional experience from the Arsenal team.
Our trainers don't simply work with dogs. They are responsible for helping transfer those skills to the owner and creating an experience that builds long-term client confidence.
