Summary
As a Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within our facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your core responsibilities will include commercial cleaning, sanitation, Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will support our organization's standards and enhance the overall experience for all occupants. Additionally, your relevant skills in facilities maintenance will contribute to the efficient operation of our facilities, making you a vital part of our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform dusting of furniture, desks, chairs, tables, filing cabinets, bookcases and shelves;
- Dust and disinfect
- Clean and sanitize
- Wash all touch spots on doors, handles, switches etc., chair legs and table legs as required;
- Spot clean any spots and stains on carpets;
- Clean and sanitize all fixtures in washrooms, glass and mirrors, and sanitize counters;
- Empty all trash containers and other containers as per site requirements. Remove the liners and install new ones.
- Spot clean walls, partitions, doors and clean desks;
- Refill all dispensers with new product. Report to supervisors any consumables that may be in low supply;
- Adhere to the Client's security policy of locking or unlocking doors.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Perform a wide range of clean up tasks – ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to adhere to all safety protocols
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions
- Ability to be bonded and pass a background check
