Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Building & Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various residential/commercial property maintenance tasks. Possess excellent problem-solving abilities and skills. Must have reliable tools for everyday handyman work, valid driver's license with clean driving record required. Driver's abstract, credit check and police criminal background check will be required. Company vehicle will be provided for this position.
*Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform a variety of building and property maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively including but not limited to:
- Summer lawn care mowing, trimming, and yard cleanup as required.
- Winter snow/ice removal (proficiency in operating tractor/snowplow is a definite asset)
- Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including repairing and troubleshooting
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Collaborate to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using appropriate tools
- Experience in maintenance, and general repairs
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in running various landscaping and snow removal equipment
- basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general property maintenance skills.
*Qualifications
· Background in a trades, construction, and / or maintenance related field
· Knowledge of Health and Safety and Emergency procedures
