What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and off-road construction machinery
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs in the shop
- On occasion perform field work as required, travelling to client locations to complete on-site service and repairs, inspections, installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, or operational support activities.
- Repair engines, transmissions, cooling systems, drivetrains, pumps, and more
- Read schematics and complete diagnostics efficiently
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Test equipment to ensure repairs are completed properly
- Complete work orders and maintenance reports accurately
- Mentor apprentices and work closely with the team
- Keep safety top of mind at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Journeyman Off-Road or Heavy-Duty Ticket
- Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Exceptional diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Someone who enjoys solving problems and getting equipment back in action

Working Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Overtime may be required
- Occasional travel to job sites
- PPE required including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
- Shop and field environment with the usual challenges that come with the trade
