Overview
We are seeking a strategic, organized, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives that support revenue growth across both our B2B and B2C business channels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, campaign management, project management, SEO, eCommerce, email marketing, paid advertising, and analytics. This person should be comfortable developing marketing strategies, managing cross-channel campaigns, analyzing performance data, and working with content, social media, eCommerce, sales, and creative teams to achieve measurable business results.
This role is ideal for someone who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution. The Marketing Manager will help ensure that marketing efforts are well-planned, brand-aligned, data-driven, and directly connected to business goals such as increased website traffic, customer engagement, lead generation, wholesale growth, online sales, and customer retention.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that support revenue growth across B2B and B2C channels.
- Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across email marketing, social media, website, SEO, paid advertising, eCommerce, wholesale, product launches, promotions, events, and educational content.
- Manage digital advertising initiatives across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Advertising, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, or other relevant channels.
- Oversee paid advertising strategy, including audience targeting, budget allocation, creative testing, retargeting, conversion tracking, ROI monitoring, and campaign optimization.
- Work with the content and social media teams to develop campaigns that drive meaningful engagement, website traffic, leads, customer education, and sales.
- Provide strategic direction for newsletters, blog posts, website content, social media campaigns, videos, product education, and promotional materials.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including campaign planning, segmentation, content direction, performance tracking, and optimization.
- Support eCommerce growth by identifying opportunities to improve product pages, landing pages, customer journey, website content, user experience, conversion rates, and repeat purchases.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility, website traffic, and content performance.
- Maintain and improve website content using platforms such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar systems.
- Track, analyze, and report on website traffic, campaign performance, paid advertising results, email engagement, SEO performance, social media performance, and eCommerce results.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, email marketing platforms, SEO tools, and eCommerce reporting systems to evaluate performance.
- Translate marketing data into clear insights, recommendations, and next steps for leadership and team members.
- Manage marketing projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, responsibilities, approvals, and success metrics are clearly defined.
- Maintain marketing calendars, campaign timelines, launch plans, and project management workflows.
- Collaborate with social media, content, creative, eCommerce, sales, product, and leadership teams to align marketing activities with company goals.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify new opportunities for brand awareness, customer acquisition, wholesale growth, and online sales.
- Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, SEO best practices, paid advertising updates, eCommerce strategies, and customer behavior.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, campaign management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing.
- Experience managing or overseeing digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Advertising, email marketing, social media, SEO, and website content.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, priorities, and cross-functional projects.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and the ability to plan, segment, analyze, and optimize email campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and website optimization best practices.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and strategies for increasing online traffic, conversions, average order value, customer retention, and revenue.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, SEO tools, email marketing platforms, and social media reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable.
- Ability to think strategically while also managing day-to-day marketing execution.
- Comfortable working with content, social media, eCommerce, sales, creative, and leadership teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in eCommerce, wholesale, retail, consumer goods, crafting, sewing, quilting, textiles, lifestyle, or other creative hobby industries.
- Familiarity with the sewing, quilting, embroidery, crafting, or maker community is considered a strong asset.
- Experience marketing products that require customer education, demonstrations, tutorials, project inspiration, or technical product knowledge.
- Experience managing product launches, promotional campaigns, educational campaigns, or seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Experience creating marketing reports for leadership with clear insights and recommended actions.
- Understanding of customer journey, audience segmentation, sales funnels, conversion optimization, and retention marketing.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, website structure, or web development is an asset, but not required.
- Experience with influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, event marketing, or community-based marketing is an asset.

They should be comfortable working with creative teams while also using data to make informed decisions. This person should be able to look at marketing performance and explain what is working, what is not working, and what should be improved.
Experience or familiarity with a creative hobby industry, such as sewing, quilting, embroidery, crafting, textiles, or the maker community, would be a strong asset. This person does not need to be an expert sewist or quilter, but they should be able to understand an audience that values creativity, education, product knowledge, and project inspiration.
The right candidate will bring structure to marketing initiatives, keep projects moving forward, and help the team create campaigns that are purposeful, measurable, and results-driven.
