Crafty Elk Distillery Limited is one of Canada's fastest-growing independent beverage alcohol companies. We produce premium organic, gluten-free ready-to-drink cocktails and spirits that are distributed through grocery, convenience, private liquor, and licensed on-premise channels.
As we continue to expand throughout British Columbia, we are seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our presence in government liquor stores, private liquor stores, bars, restaurants, golf courses, and hospitality accounts.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating new opportunities, and representing an exciting Canadian beverage brand in the marketplace.
The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing product distribution, supporting retail partners, securing menu placements, coordinating tastings, and helping drive sales growth throughout their territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Call on BC Liquor Stores and private liquor retailers
- Develop and maintain relationships with restaurant, bar, golf course, and hospitality accounts
- Present new products and promotional opportunities
- Identify and secure new listings and placements
- Conduct in-store tastings and sampling events
- Build and maintain account relationships through regular visits
- Track customer activity and sales opportunities
- Attend festivals, trade shows, and industry events when required
- Work closely with management to execute territory growth plans
QualificationsRequired
- Serving It Right Certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Working computer and smartphone
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Preferred
- Previous beverage alcohol sales experience
- Previous retail liquor, hospitality, or restaurant experience
- Existing relationships within BC Liquor Stores, private liquor stores, restaurants, bars, or hospitality groups
- Experience with field sales, account management, or business development
