Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various tasks around the café. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with attention to quality and presentation
- Prepare Bowl and sandwich
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation and serving food items to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and safety procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including basic math for transactions and change calculation
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with general café maintenance
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or cashiering roles is beneficial
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus
