About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our team at a retail store in Cold Lake. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and possess strong communication skills in English. Previous experience in security or customer service is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor store premises to ensure the safety and security of staff, customers, and property
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential incidents
- Respond promptly to emergencies and report incidents to management
- Complete daily security reports and logs
- Assist customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard License (Alberta)
- Strong verbal communication skills in English
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Previous security or retail experience is an asset
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
