Overview:
D&H Concrete Services is looking for help for the 2026 season (May thru October). We offer competitive pay and bonus incentives.
Must have own transportation to site. Some out of town work is required.
We are seeking experienced Asphalt Paving & Site Preparation Personnel to join our team. As a member of our crew, you will play a crucial role in the full process of asphalt road, driveway, and parking lot construction — from site preparation through final paving.
Responsibilities:
- Excavation & Site Preparation: Perform excavation work using excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment to remove existing material, grade areas, and prepare sites for new asphalt installation.
- Base Preparation: Install, spread, grade, and compact gravel, sub-base, and base materials to create a stable, properly drained foundation for asphalt surfaces.
- Pave Surfaces: Lay asphalt on roads, driveways, and parking lots using specialized equipment.
- Operate Heavy Equipment: Utilize heavy machinery such as excavators, skid steers, pavers, rollers, and compactors to complete excavation, base work, and paving projects. (Skid Steer Asphalt Unloading and Feeding Paver an asset*)
- Build and Repair: Assist in constructing new asphalt surfaces and repairing existing ones.
- Ensure Quality: Monitor the quality of excavation, base work, and paving to meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in asphalt paving, excavation, and base preparation is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, pavers, rollers, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Pay: $22.75-$35.00 per hour
