Duties
- Install, test, and troubleshoot various automotive electronic systems including audio, navigation, security, and lighting components with precision and care
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations efficiently and safely
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle electrical systems to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
- Follow detailed installation procedures and safety protocols to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining attention to detail
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and system configurations for each vehicle
- Assist in training junior technicians on installation techniques and safety practices as needed
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on automotive electrical systems or electronics installations
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and crimpers
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, impact drivers, and soldering equipment for efficient installations
- Prior experience in automotive electronics installation or related technical roles is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals clearly and accurately
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards
