Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in automotive and dealership painting projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive repair and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on vehicles. A background in dealership environments and familiarity with various hand and power tools will be highly valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns or brushes, maintaining consistent quality standards
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist in surface preparation and minor repairs
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move vehicles or equipment safely
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
- Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition for efficient workflow
Skills
- Dealership experience or automotive painting background is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with automotive repair processes is a plus
