Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Serve food to guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring proper presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service
- Restock bar supplies and assist in inventory management as needed
- Comply with all food safety regulations and restaurant policies
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, preferably as a bartender or server
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and hospitality best practices
