Job Overview
We are looking for one reliable and motivated Full-Time General Labourer to support our plumbing retrofits and fixture installation programs. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who is responsible, punctual, and enjoys working in a team environment. The successful candidates will be a part of a 3-4 man installation team and will work across Canada completing installations for our customers.
Duties
- Load, unload, and hand-carry water fixtures (toilets, showers, facets etc)
- Pre-assemble and prepare water fixtures for installation
- Assist in the installation of toilets, showerheads and aerators
- Lift and carry materials up to 60 lbs independently
- Perform warehouse tasks such as counting parts, organizing materials, and disassembling units
- Assist with deliveries and interact professionally with customers during installations
- Keep track of tools, materials, and inventory
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Multiple simple task as assigned
Requirements
- Must be located in Canada and willing to travel to Vaughan ON
- Valid full G driver's license in good standing
- Must have your own vehicle
- Clean criminal record background check
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs without assistance
- Punctual, reliable, with a history of honesty and integrity in past roles
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and manual labor
- Excellent communication and customer service skill for interacting with customers
- Able to travel outside the GTA approximately 40% of the time (e.g., 5-10 days travel is possible each month – some months may require no travel)
- Previous plumbing/trades experience is an asset, but not required
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction plumbing, welding, and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
- Experience with commercial driving is a plus but not required.
