Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Stainless Pipe Fitter/Welder to join our team. This position involves fabricating, assembling, and installing stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with complex schematics and blueprints. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring precision welding and fitting skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation of stainless piping systems.
- Perform mostly TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon pipe.
- Rig and position heavy piping or equipment using cranes or forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Measure materials accurately using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices to ensure proper fitment.
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and quality checks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and general welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, and rigging.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- This role requires a dedicated professional with a focus on quality craftsmanship in stainless steel piping systems. Candidates should possess relevant technical skills combined with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while adhering to safety standards.
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
