Max’s Place is a local Bakery and Lunch spot in Cranbrook BC. We specialize in from-scratch cooking and baking. While serving our customers is a top priority it is also important to us that we have fun while doing it! We are looking for a Baker’s Assistant or an experienced Cook to join our team.
This is an ideal position for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and who shines in a food service environment. Excellent time management, organization and communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team are a must.
Responsibilities include baking, prepping, cleanup, and collaborating with the Baker on features and promotions. We are seeking an individual with previous baking or cooking experience who must be able to lift 50 pounds and able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The position is part-time, ranging from 6am - 11am or 7am - 12pm. Leaving you the afternoon to get out and enjoy the multitude of activities the Kootenays have to offer
