Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier & Freight Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and possess strong communication skills to coordinate deliveries effectively.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to deliver freight across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo safely.
- Assist with moving heavy or bulky items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip on our proprietary APP.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery times and address any issues promptly
- Conduct routine Pre & Post Trip on the company vehicle, do inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safety compliance.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading processes
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is required
- Warehouse experience, including operating forklifts, is an asset.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with moving procedures and handling freight of various sizes and weights
- Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial vehicle operation and a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
