Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have already completed at least one year of their apprenticeship program and have a background in various carpentry tasks and be familiar with residential renovations. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks, including framing and finishing work.
- Use power tools safely
- Haul materials
- Handle other general tasks related to residential renovations.
- Take direction well
- Ensure that all work complies with building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with the journey person, carpenter, for seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in basic framing and finishing carpentry.
- Knowledge of residential construction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
